Terms of Service
These Terms explain how Access Lab works with clients. By hiring Access Lab or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Projects & Pricing
Website projects are provided for the project price and payment terms agreed upon between Access Lab and the client for that project.
2. Payments
Payments are due as set out in the client's package or individual project agreement. Access Lab may pause work if agreed payments are not made on time.
3. Hosting
Under Access Lab's current hosting arrangement, there is no recurring monthly hosting fee.
Hosting relies on third-party platforms and service providers. If provider pricing, policies, services, availability, or Access Lab's hosting arrangement materially changes, Access Lab may modify the hosting arrangement. Affected clients will receive reasonable notice and available options for continued hosting or transfer, when applicable.
4. Domains
Clients are responsible for their own domain registration and renewal costs.
5. Revisions
Revisions are limited to the revision period included with the client's selected package or individual project agreement.
6. Support & Future Changes
Ongoing support, maintenance, and future website changes are optional and are not included indefinitely with the original website purchase.
7. Client Materials
Clients are responsible for having the rights or permission to use any photos, logos, text, trademarks, or other materials they provide to Access Lab.
8. Ownership & Transfers
Once all required payments have been completed, the client owns their final website content and the custom materials created specifically for their project. This does not include third-party platforms, software, licensed materials, reusable components, tools, or technology subject to separate rights.
Clients may request a transfer of their website or project after payment is complete, and Access Lab will reasonably assist with the transfer where technically supported by the applicable platform.
9. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellations and refunds are handled according to the terms agreed upon in the client's package or individual project agreement. Please contact us with any questions before starting a project.
10. Third-Party Services
Websites may rely on third-party services such as hosting, domain, and email providers. Access Lab is not responsible for the policies, outages, or changes of those providers.
11. Availability
We work to keep websites and services running smoothly, but we cannot guarantee they will always be available or error-free.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Access Lab is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data, arising from our services or this website. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the related project.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates do not retroactively change project-specific terms already agreed to with a client. The "Last Updated" date above shows when they were last changed.
